As I was perusing different blogs and paying special attention to different PL pages, I decided that recording the info for the week was a good idea. I do hope to catch up soon and be current using PL and thought that if I start recording weekly events, it will help me do my journalling when the time comes. So I'm starting now.
This week.....
Sunday
* went condo shopping - no luck finding anything yet
* planted the veggie garden
* went golfing
* stayed up to 1:30am helping Miss Tamara with her 2500 word essay
Monday
* mixed up my blood test appt. & went a day early
* got the gardening done in the front yard
* went golfing again - 9 holes
Tuesday
* actual blood test appt. - both days (of supposed appts.) my fasting tested high on my meter and I have resolved myself that the diabetes is only going to get worse
* went to SC's year end party
* there was a wicked thunderstorm that night
Wednesday
* cancelled Tamara's Dr. appt. because she didn't want to be pulled from school then went to walk-in clinic after school & waited 2 hrs to get a prescription refill, which only took 2 minutes
Thursday
* volunteered at the YS Golf tournament
* perennials planted, everything has been weeded for the most part and the back yard cleaned up. Worked till 10:30pm because it was so beautiful out.
Friday
* my Dr. appt and my doc still says I'm pre-diabetic due to my A1C being under 7.0 but wants me to start mild dosage of metformin 2x a day
Saturday
* spent the day scrapping & catching up with my good friend Dar
* more crafting after supper & relaxing
Busy week, And next week looks as busy too. How was your week?

Here they are! The pictures of my last few PL pages for 2008 and I completed a layout for my Christmas album. I apologize for some of the blurriness. I'd retake them but I have to get ready for a busy weekend ahead.

Completed Year 2008
Yeah!! I have completed 2008 using Project Life. Have I mentioned that I love PL? In a day or so I will post my pages.
And I will need to review & print pictures for 2009. Though as the nicer weather approaches I feel that I may find myself more & more outdoors and not working on my pages. Oh well. That's life.
In the meantime, here's a few pics from David's & Tamara's birthdays.
Enjoy the rest of your evening! =) Lisa

Project Life : Mid July to Mid September 2008
Hello!
I'm excited today because it's Friday, I got a great haircut from my fab hairdresser and I received my first set of stamps from Technique Tuesday. Also this weekend will be our first golf game of the season and the weather is looking warmer!!
What a great way to start the weekend. So as mentioned in my post title, below are the pics of my PL pages from Mid July to Mid September 2008. I love, LOVE doing project life. I do not think I will get tired of it. Each page has the opportunity for a little bit of scrapbooking or just keeping it simple.
I originally ordered the cobalt core kit but I also like to use bits and pieces from my monthly scrapbook kit that I get from Scrapbook Circle. I find that some of the pages I get in the kit can be used as journaling cards, that can be cut to fit the 3 x 4 pockets. Or I just like to cut co-ordinating paper to fit the mood of the pics. I also like to use the printables I get from Scrapbook Circle and add them as well as a few embellies.
Sorry, the pics are a little unfocused this time. But you can get the gist. Here they are:

Project Life: February to Mid July 2008
I am so happy how quick these pages have come together. I'm excited to show you these next pages and I managed to do a layout as well. =)
Feb to Mid Jul 2008 and a couple of layouts:
The PL pages went together so quick and it took me over a week to do the layout page. Guess I just wanted to make it 'perfect' and therefore stalls the creativity a bit. Looking forward to creating more project life pages. I am hooked.
Have a Happy Easter, everyone!! =) Lisa
